About Me

My name is Michelle Bufkin, and I am a recent graduate with a degree in Agriculture Communications and am pursuing my Master’s Degree in that as well. I am very invested in agriculture, I am a self-proclaimed “agvocate” or agriculture advocate.

I co-own a Belted Galloway farm, Bufkin Family Farms, with my father. I am also a freelance writer/photographer, as well as a social media manager.

  2. Any chance you could set your blog up to be linked to feedly(or any other blog reader)? I have all the other blogs I follow there and it would be convenient to follow you there as well. Thanks!

      • Hhhhmmm… That is a good question. I just read them. I’ve never set one up. 🙂

I talked to someone else about it once and they told me it needed to be set up as an RSS feed. But i’m not sure how you go about doing that. They got there’s switched and I now get there blog on my feedly reader.

Sorry, I don’t know much about it.

      • Alright, here is what I’ve got for you…

This will help explain how to make your blog able to be read on feedly(the most popular RSS and blog reader). This will also help to increase your level of influence and networking since your blog will be available more readily to other people. Feedly currently has over 15 million users and I think that might help you get your message out a bit better.

      • This is a really helpful site, and we learned about chickens and selective breeding as the key to their size. The only pesky thing about larger chickens for the two of us is when we buy chicken, it is hard to cut the breast meat into convenient-sized pieces that cook at the same rate on the BBQ. Bring back the chicken from 20 years ago! 🙂

  3. Spent my first weekend at Auburn for the A&M game. Have to say that I love Auburn. It’s now my second favorite school… we stayed very close to the Vet school. Here’s what I said about the fan experience at Auburn: http://fridayforgood.com/2014/11/10/on-friends-football-and-fans/. Thanks for the article. I’m following you now. I read a very interesting article about Gluten and the theory that roundup might be what’s causing the intestinal reaction, not the wheat itself. European countries seem to have the right idea when they ban that stuff. Did we learn nothing from DDT back in the 70s? Looking forward to reading what you have to say in the future! Best wishes and Gig’Em War Eagle!!
